MY HEALTH VISITOR principles
The vision of MY HEALTH VISITOR is an independent,
private health visiting service maintained to a traditional professional
standard for antenatal parents and for families with children up to 5 years
old. Private Health Visitors on our database have signed up to the following
principles:
- We provide a consistently high quality service for our clients (parents and children).
- The needs and welfare of our clients are paramount.
- We work to the highest professional standards.
- We are committed to maintaining and extending our professional knowledge and ensuring that we are aware of current research in the field.
- We maintain client confidentiality.
- We will liaise with our clients’ other healthcare providers as necessary with the client’s permission, both outside and within the National Health Service (for example General Practitioners) to ensure continuity of the overall service for our clients.
- Any Health Visitor who is on the MY HEALTH VISITOR database of private Health Visitors will have up-to-date professional registration to practice as a Health Visitor and Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) clearance.
