To generate a discussion amongst Health Visitors about the future of health visiting.
To help Health Visitors who are interested in working on a private basis get started.

Only qualified Health Visitors with a currently active Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN number can gain access to the Health Visitors part of this website. To register please supply us with the information below. MY HEALTH VISITOR will use this to obtain the required confirmation from the NMC. Please take a moment to complete this online form.

The Health Visitor section of the website will include the following:

A forum where you can share with your fellow Health Visitors your views about health visiting and its future. You can also discuss research findings, topical health news items or Government initiatives as well as share feedback from parents about the health visiting service and their ideas for improvements.
Help with getting started as a private Health Visitor through the MY HEALTH VISITOR Starter Pack.
The MY HEALTH VISITOR Information & Referral Service. Once you have set up as a private Health Visitor this service can help with developing your practice and will include a process for putting you in contact with potential clients.
